It’s been over ten months now since we first embarked on this journey and a lot has happened since that time. Behind the scenes, everyone on our team has been busy working towards our final goal of bringing you a web series featuring our favourite red-head. This is a huge project, and although we’re working on finalizing a start date, we’d like to take a moment now to let you know what we’ve spent the fall doing.
- Two or three evenings a week, at least one of our writing, design, marketing, transmedia, and administrative teams of talented and amazing volunteers meet in Google Hangouts to dream, scheme, and plan our series.
- We’re pursuing multiple funding options so we can bring you the whole story we want to tell from start to finish.
- This is a transformative work, and our writers are dedicated to telling a great story. Story arcs and scripts are being written and revised so that we’re ready to go once we start production.
- We’ve begun to build a production team with professionals who will help make this a great series.
We still have lots of things to do before we have a show but we’re much closer than we were ten months ago. Your support and enthusiasm for the project have been invaluable to us, and we look forward to being able to share even more with you in the coming months.

"It’s just a prank, calm down!"
When did harassing women become a prank? You can clearly see that this girl is trying to laugh it off even though she’s uncomfortable with it, and that is not okay. If I’m a feminazi for pointing this out, then so be it, I’m not going to tolerate this shit.
This Sam Pepper controversy is good. It’s good because he’s being called out on this ridiculous and misogynistic behaviour. FUN FACT: If you ever think that you have the right to touch a stranger on ANY part of their body without their consent, you’re wrong. That’s sexual harassment, plain and simple, and it’s completely wrong.
Fuck this guy. This guy is a despicable piece of shit. I hope all of these women press charges against him.
What? No! I’m not crying. Shut up! You’re crying! It’s just dusty in here, OK?! Ok, but to be real for a sec. This show meant a lot to so many, myself included. But the cast and crew were so welcoming that what you created something more than entertainment. You laid the foundation for an global community that, for all the ups and downs, is still here over a year later. I’m happy to have counted Lizzie as a friend and I miss her often. But I’m also excited to meet the new friends theashleyclements (that Ambrosia seems nice, eh?) and Julia (ugh I wish I was in CA to see all the plays) and marykatewiles (blackhearts 5eva!) and Laura (Emily! Jessica!!!) will introduce us to. Always remember there’s a whole community of people rooting for your successes. Congratulations, Ashley! You earned it.
YOU GUYS! The outpouring of love after winning the Best Actress Streamy Award last night has been so touching.
The greatest reward any actor can have is to reach people, to move them in some way, and I have had that great reward. The beauty of the internet is that so many of you have reached…
They wouldn’t say “Father of two meets world leaders today”
They’d say “President Obama meets world leaders today”.
They wouldn’t say “Father of three founds one of the most successful modern computer businesses.”
They’d say “Bill Gates founds one of the most successful modern computer businesses.”
Get your shit right and use women’s names, not the number of kids they have.
